Sony sits at the pinnacle of the TV landscape with companies like Samsung and LG following close behind. A Note on Resolution
We know that all of the current generation consoles support 1080p or FHD resolution. We also know that for PC gaming, 1080p is considered the base resolution that you would need.
With that in mind, we have tried to select as many 1080p 32 inch TV for gaming as we could. Finding FHD on 32 inch TV is difficult as most TV of this screen size currently only offer HD or 720p resolution.
If you are looking for a 4K TV at this resolution or a 120 Hz Gaming TV at 32 inch, then you will be disappointed. Although, there are few select TVs that do offer good refresh rate, if not hardware driven then at least software driven.
The good news is that 32 inch TV for gaming are quite cheap.
If you are willing to spend a bit more but on quality visuals then you can check out monitors like the VA gaming monitor, or the IPS gaming monitor. Also, if you are considering spending on a gaming TV make sure to get the right gaming TV stand or the proper gaming desk as well. The right type of gaming chair can also greatly enhance your experience.

VIZIO D32-D1 D-Series 32″ Class Full Array LED Smart TV
Not every 32 inch tv is created equally, this model by Vizio put the emphasis on a brilliant picture quality as well as variable smart TV technology. The smart functionality here is a bit of a gift and a curse because while it allows you to stream your shows easily, you also cannot setup this TV if you are not an app user making it kind of useless for someone who just wants the standard television experience. It should not get in the way of a gamer who just wants beautiful visuals.
This model has a thin black bezel so you get the most out of the full array design. This allows you to get a clear picture for 178 degrees of viewing angles.
1080p full HD and 120 hz refresh rate adds some really nice picture quality for a TV that is decently priced. This TV can be found for around $250 making it a higher priced TV for the 32 inch range.
However thanks to the superior picture quality and some decent connectivity with two HDMI ports the value is still pretty strong since Vizio is only a step below the top tier brands when it comes to established quality. You won’t find much better specs for a 32 inch TV that will make your games look great.
Samsung UN32J5003 32-Inch 1080p LED TV
Samsung is a stalwart in the television market lagging only behind Sony when it comes to brand recognition. Known for creating high quality televisions that have great picture quality this one is no slouch.
If you have a next generation gaming system you will be delighted by a TV that has incredibly vibrant colors with its wide color enhancer feature so every pixel looks as the developer intended.
The speed here is still on the past generation with 60 hz you still get a smooth 60 frames per second but there are more fluid pictures available. With DTS premium sound we have a TV with the ability to pull you deeper into your gaming experience with the audio as well as visual.
This television has two HDMI ports and a USB port with easy share technology for hooking up your other devices to display on your TV screen. With a price around $250 you are definitely paying a bit for the quality that the Samsung brand delivers.
Still though gamers should enjoy a long lasting great picture, and sound even if you can find a bit more for the same price elsewhere Samsung is in a league of its own.
VIZIO E32-C1 32-Inch 1080p Smart LED TV
Our second Vizio is actually the 2015 version of our previous model with quite comparable features that will appeal to a gamer who was trying to pay a little less.
Though with the drop in price since it is an older moder it might also be a bit more difficult to find. You can purchase one of these for around $200 dollars which is great when you consider what it delivers.
We have Full Array visuals for a multitude of viewing angles along with that super high speed 120 hz that gives you double the frames per second over the competition.
This television is also full HD with smart TV functionality except this time it is not as much of a core function so this TV operates like you would expect right out of the box without installing any apps. Two HDMI ports and one USB port give this television pretty decent connectivity.
Not a bad package for a gamer with Clear Action technology so it can keep up with the action on the screen. If you can find one of these models for purchase it delivers good streaming, great looking and fluid gaming, along with a decent price so hop on it.
Sony KDL32W600D 32-Inch Built-In Wi-Fi HD Smart TV
Sony has long been the kings of the playground when it comes to cutting edge technology made for the consumer. You are guaranteed to get a high quality, well designed product, along with a price point that will put it at the top of the range.
The math becomes and issue of figuring out how much Sony put into their product and if the matches up to the exorbitant price line. The price actually is not too bad here right around $300 dollars it is still on the high end for a 32 inch TV however.
Thankfully Sony backs it up with superior features. This TV can reach an effective refresh rate of 240 hz with Motion Flow XR 240 technology that makes this TV the king of smooth visuals great for gaming intense moments without a bit of frame lag.
This feature alone probably justifies this purchase over the others but this TV also has smart TV functionality. With a super thin modern design Sony has done it again putting themselves at the very top of the market is once again validated with a TV that can manufacture tears of joy for any game who can afford it.
TCL 32S305 32-Inch 720p Roku Smart LED TV
From the top of the world we take a deep dive down for this model from TCL. With 720p picture quality this television has the worst visual quality on the list but they are hoping to make up for that with the price to make this TV a bargain.
You can find this model for around $170 dollars making it extremely affordable for any gamer in the market. As it is becoming the standard this TV also brings the utility of smart TV functionality with built in WiFi. A 60 hz refresh rate still gives you pretty smooth visuals for gaming at 60 frames per second just don’t expect to be too impressed.
This is the type of television that sets the low bar for the market which means it probably will only appeal to you over the others if you are pressed for cash. We do get three HDMI ports and a USB for great connectivity in a TV that could still bring a gamer a lot of value if they don’t mind their games looking a little better or smoother on their buddies TV.
LG Electronics 32LF500B 720p LED TV – 32″ Class
Our final model also belongs toe the family of 720p but brings a bit more quality that the previous TCL. This TV gives you a crystal clear picture at a light weight from the well established brand of LG.
Though they started on kitchens then moved to computer monitors they now have created a gorgeous TV that gets the most out of 720p. Their monitor knowledge comes into play with a TV that resembles a high end monitor with a super thin bezel and a energy efficient run.
You aren’t worried about energy efficiency though, you just want a fully featured TV that makes your games look great and this one is up to the task though its price point is not as agreeable.
Paying around $300 dollars for a 720p TV that also only brings 60 hz does not really feel right especially when it does not have smart TV functionality. However this TV has great connectivity with three HDMI ports and two USB ports for a package that isn’t too shabby. Though the budget focused gamer should look elsewhere if they are looking for the most bang for their buck.
